Klidson de Abreu submits German and wins belt at Brave 8

Brazilian managed an armbar in the second round and became the country's first champion fighter in the event

And in the second show held in Brazil, the country already has a champion. Brazilian Klidson de Abreu became the first light heavyweight champion in the organization's history, submitting Timo Feucht, from Germany, in the second round. The Guyanese based in Rio de Janeiro Carlston Harris took advantage of a last-minute chance and beat Englishman Carl Booth via unanimous decision to capture Brave's first welterweight belt.

Klidson dominated the young Feucht, just 21 years old, who was undefeated. Abreu surprised by showing much better striking than the German, who had been seen as dangerous on the feet. When the fight went to the ground, the brown belt world champion's jiu-jitsu made the difference and Klidson won the light heavyweight belt with an armbar from mount.

In the second most important fight of the night, the Guyanese Carlston Harris surprised Carl Booth with his wrestling and wrestling. The Guyanese, who represents the RFT in Rio de Janeiro, agreed to fight for the title a day ago, when Mohammad Fakhreddine, “Bomber's” original opponent, fell ill at the weigh-in cut. Edilberto Crocotá and Christiano Frohlich had a quick fight, but full of emotions. After being surprised at the weigh-in the previous day, the two started at a frantic pace. The veteran ex-UFC fighter soon managed a takedown, but didn't come close to a submission. “Urso” got up and threw a hard blow at his rival, who appeared to give up, but claimed to be signaling to the referee that his mouthguard had fallen off and ended up losing by forfeit.
