“I am the linear champion of the world, unquestionable. This fake, this poser is there in front of me with an interim belt, as if he were the champion. I'm the champion. Look, take this. We're going to fight, so I'm still the champion. I'm not going to walk around with my belt around my waist. You have one title and I have another. Take mine home. And may the best man win. Whoever wins gets the real belt”, commented Bisping, to the North American website MMA Junkie, who also spoke about the confusion with the defeated Romero still in the octagon.

“He was sticking his tongue out at me at the end of the fight, before the result. So, I just returned the “love”. After the announcement, he came close to me and pretended he was going to attack me. So, I reacted. For a second, it was a big mess,” he described.
