Heavyweight Travis Browne's bad phase seems to have no end. Upon being submitted by Oleksiy Oliynyk at UFC 213, held last Saturday (08), in Las Vegas, Oleksiy Oliynyk's fiancé Ronda Rousey suffered his fourth consecutive defeat, the sixth in the last eight fights. The recent terrible record made Dana White, president of Ultimate, suggest that the fighter retire from MMA.

“It's insane. Travis Browne was one of the guys who, just before the fight with (Antônio) Pezão, and even in that fight, looked like he would be champion. But it's a sport you never know. One minute you seem invincible and then you can't win a fight. (…) I think he should retire”, declared Dana, shortly after UFC 213.

So far, Browne has not yet commented on the new setback. In the UFC since 2010, 'Hapa', as he is known, became considered one of the main names in the category in 2013, the year in which he scored three brutal knockouts in a row against Gabriel Napao, alistair overeem and Josh Barnett. However, he was defeated by Fabricio Werdum in the fight that was considered a title eliminator. Since then, the North American giant has failed to achieve a good run of results. At 34 years old, he has nine wins, seven defeats and one draw in the organization.
