After confirming that it will return to Brazil on August 12th for its eighth event, the second in the country, Brave CF announced the signing of two 'big' names for its fighter squad. These are middleweight Wagnão Silva and welterweight Wendell Negão, former UFC athletes. The two fighters are confirmed on the Brave 8 card in Brazil, but their opponents have not yet been revealed.

Semi-finalist of TUF Brasil 3, Wagnão, 30 years old, had just two fights in the UFC, being submitted in both. Lost to Ricardo Demente, in May 2014, and for Colby covington, in November of the same year. After his dismissal, he suffered another defeat – he was knocked out by Paulo Borracha in Face to Face, but he recovered in smaller events and has won three consecutive victories, the most recent in June of last year. In total, the Minas Gerais player has a record with 6 positive results and three negative results.
Just like Wagnão, Negão was also unsuccessful in his journey in Ultimate, accumulating two defeats by knockout. Lost to Argentine Santiago Ponzinibbio, in September 2014, and for English living in Brazil Darren till, in May 2015. With extensive experience on the national scene, Wendell has 28 wins and ten losses as a professional.
