Vitor Miranda loses to Italian at UFC Oklahoma

This Sunday night (25) was not Brazilian's Vitor miranda. The middleweight was the only representative from the country at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma, but ended up losing to the Italian Marvin vettori in the unanimous decision of the judges. The result marked the second consecutive setback for Santa Catarina in the organization.

The fight

Specialist in stand-up fighting, Vitor miranda was surprised by the momentum of Marvin vettori at the beginning of the duel. The Italian started walking forward and hitting the Brazilian in the face. The pressure seems to bother the Brazilian, who was unable to show his potential. Vettori still managed to take down Vitor at the end of the round to score points.

In the second round, Miranda came back better. With several kicks to his rival's leg, he scored points. The Italian seemed to feel the blows, but managed a takedown in the final minute and stopped the Brazilian's good momentum.

With the fight balanced, the third round could determine the victor. Vitor even started better, walking forward and combining punches with strong kicks to the legs. However, in the final minute, Marvin vettori managed to take down the Brazilian. On top, the Italian, despite not working effectively, scored points and controlled from above until the bell sounded.

In the end, the judges declared the victory of Marvin vettori unanimously30-27, 29-28, 30-27).
