On his official return to the lightweight division, the young Sage Northcutt would initially have a challenge equal to its current capabilities, when facing Claudio Puelles placeholder image at UFC 214 on July 29th. However, the Peruvian athlete was injured and now the North American will face the experienced John makdessi, 32-year-old Canadian, who has 20 professional fights in his career, double the number of the promising Northcutt. “The Bull” is coming off a defeat to Lando Vanatta, when he received the knockout last year at UFC 206, in December 2016. The information comes from the Canadian website “Toronto Metro” and was confirmed by the organization.
