In weigh-in with fight, Aldo promises devastating victory at UFC 212

UFC 212 is now official. With the ceremonial weigh-in, which took place this Friday (2), the 24 fighters confirmed their weights, faced their opponents for the last time and are now resting before taking action this Saturday (3). In the main fight of the event, the linear champion José Aldo, which seeks to unify the belt with the owner of the provisional title Max Holloway, preached respect to his opponent in the face, but assured that victory will come and in a devastating way. The negative highlight was the duel between Paulo borrachinha and Oluwale Bamgbose – the two argued and the Brazilian slapped the Nigerian in the face.

In the second most important fight, Claudinha gadelha e Karolina Kowalkiewicz, who fight for the right to face the strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk, showed cordiality when facing each other. Education was also the tone of the conversation between the former light heavyweight champion Vitor belfort and Nate Marquardt, who face each other in a middleweight duel.

Before the three main fights, however, Paulo borrachinha and Oluwale Bamgbose starred in regrettable scenes. The two had already been teasing each other throughout the week and, in the last face-to-face before the fight, the Nigerian signaled to the Brazilian, as if calling him to fight and Borrachinha glared at him. The two exchanged insults and the host dropped his hand on his opponent's face, shortly after being separated by UFC and CABMMA officials.
