Former UFC bantamweight champion, TJ Dillashaw would have the chance to return to the top of the category at UFC 213, when he would face the current belt holder cody garbrandt. However, his rival was injured and was forced to leave the fight, thus postponing TJ's possibility of fighting for the title. “They told me that if Cody isn't fit to fight, which I'm 99% sure he isn't, I'll fight (Johnson) in August. I texted Dana three days ago to ask what the deal is. He said that Cody would have one more day of medication (in Germany) and then we would know what will happen. (…) Dana was very excited about it. I don't know if (Johnson) wants to reject the fight or not. I don't know how this works. I never turned down a fight in the UFC. I don't know if we're authorized to do this, but Dana was very excited,” said TJ, in an interview with the American “ESPN” website.
