North American Angela Magaña, who was attacked by Cris Cyborg last Sunday (21) during a UFC event for fighters, revealed that he filed a complaint with the police against the Brazilian. In a post on her official Twitter, the fighter confirmed that Ultimate officials called police to the scene of the attack and posted a photo of her smiling, showing that the former Invicta champion did not knock out any of her teeth with the punch.

“Just to make everything clear, I didn't call the police, it was the UFC that did it. But I decided to press charges after consulting with the organization. I still have my teeth”, commented Magaña, who a few hours later was forced to explain herself after receiving criticism from fans on social media.

“I never said I was suing Cyborg, you idiots. I said lawyers were calling me. Is it okay to sue someone for talking nonsense, but not for assault? A “bully” is someone who takes steroids to fight against smaller people. The side effect of this is having a masculine appearance. I just stated facts”, declared the North American, trying to explain the provocations made about the Brazilian’s appearance.

The incident started when Chris Cyborg he met with Magaña at the event that the UFC produced for its athletes, and tried to make amends with the North American because of the provocations. Angela then made light of the confrontation and cursed the Brazilian. Cyborg then punched him, even with fighters like Chris Weidman trying to stop her.
