Chris Cyborg was involved in a major controversy last Sunday (21). During a meeting of fighters promoted by Ultimate in Las Vegas (USA), the Brazilian was involved in a fight with the American fighter Angela Magaña, who had been provoking the Curitiba native on social media.

According to information from athletes and journalists present at the place where it all happened, Cyborg would not have liked Magaña's tweets regarding her boyfriend, Ray Elbe, and also comments made by Magaña, who mocks Cris's appearance, comparing her to with “Jigsaw”, from the “Saw” film series.
Cyborg would have demanded satisfaction and respect from Angela outside the hotel where almost 300 fighters were staying. The North American, however, would have made light of the situation and cursed the Brazilian, ensuring that she would continue posting whatever she wanted.
“I don’t respect anyone. F*** you!” said Magaña, making a move towards Cyborg, who reacted with a punch that hit the American in the mouth. The fighter reportedly lost a tooth and injured her lips.
The confusion was quickly separated by athletes who were close to the scene. The police were called, and Magaña posted the following message on his Twitter account: “The criminal will be arrested soon.” Chris Cyborg and UFC have not yet commented on the case.
