In the post, the 'Spider' explained the reasons why he feels he has the right to face Yoel romero in a fight worth the interim belt in the under-84kg division and stated that the middleweight fighters are suffering a boycott from Dana, who he referred to as “Almighty”.

Anderson was scheduled to fight against Kelvin Gastelum at UFC 212, on June 3, in Rio de Janeiro, but the North American was caught in an anti-doping test and automatically removed from the duel. Without an opponent, the Brazilian asked to face Yoel Romero for the interim middleweight belt, but White discarded the idea. The UFC has not yet taken a position on the situation, and 'Spider', for now, continues with his future undefined.

Read Anderson Silva’s outburst below:

“From the moment I think someone is messing with me, I don’t have to accept it. And I won't accept it. Did you understand? And, to make the situation even worse, he – the “Almighty” – takes it and does the following: he brings a guy who came out of retirement, is not from the category and puts him in a fight for the belt. But how does he get a guy who is coming out of retirement, who is not in the category – He will have an excuse for that, okay? I'm warning you – to fight for the belt with a guy who won one fight on points and lost another by knockout? For a guy (Michael Bisping) who, supposedly, in his last interview, said that he is ready to fight and would not fight the first in the ranking, which is Yoel romero. This is all a big joke. And I can't keep quiet. All athletes in the category should speak out. There is a boycott of athletes in the category. I'm not mad because I'm not going to fight for the belt. I held the belt for 10 years. Nothing about this sport is new to me. But, for my business, there's no reason for me to accept a fight with Romero without it being worth an interim belt. There's no reason. I'm not an idiot, I'm not stupid. I want people to understand this, for people to stop talking nonsense because they don't understand what happens behind the scenes in this sport. Unfortunately, all athletes in the category are suffering this boycott. I'm 42 years old, everything has happened to me in this sport: I've lost, I've fallen into doping, I've won, I've been a champion for years, I just want to fight and be happy. But, for me to fight Romero, who is a tough guy, everyone runs from him, they are trying to protect Bisping from fighting him, nothing fairer than me, the guy, who is supposedly the all powerful one – it wasn't me who I said that – it was the “Almighty”, a few years ago he said he had the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, Anderson Silva… But he, the “Almighty” who has to explain himself to everyone there. Now it's explained, I don't want people to ask me about it anymore. I'm not going to fight because of this nonsense. That's not just me, but all the athletes in the category. Full stop. The “Almighty” is the owner of the toy. Whoever wants to accept, accepts and whoever doesn't want to, doesn't accept. And I won't accept it. If I accept this nonsense, I have five children and I cannot go home and say “I went back”. I have manliness and I will go to the end. When you're right, you have to see it through to the end. I'm sorry, if it means leaving the UFC, retiring, putting me in the fridge, trying to make fun of me, I don't care. But what I'm going to do is right. It's right for me, it's my manhood and no one is going to change that. I'm outraged, but I'm happy to be finishing a camp that didn't involve wasted money. With people I'm always learning from, lots of cool people, I'm happy, going home happy. In a way, much happier than if I had fought. We managed to get the “Almighty” to soak his beards. He's going to have to get Romero to fight, there's no more excuses. He's ranked number 1 and Bisping said he's ready to fight. He has no conversation. In a way, I helped a co-worker. That's what we should do, it's not insulting Dana White, butting heads. But Dana shot himself in the foot. I don't have a problem with him. But the problem is when it affects our category of fighters, athletes who spend months away from home, who make the show happen, it's not him (Dana). He just sits down, starts the fight and watches. This is a joke. This has to end. I love this, it's my passion, but I can't accept this kind of bullshit. UFC is not a sport. It is an entity. MMA is the sport. UFC is a brand that broadcasts and hosts MMA fights. One for all, all for one and victory in the war.”
