The rematch between the women's bantamweight champion Amanda nunes and the challenger Valentina Shevchenko finally got an official date. The duel valid for the category title will take place at UFC 213, on July 8, in Las Vegas (USA), on the main card of the awaits International Fight Week. The information was given first-hand by the website 'MMAFighting' and should be made official soon by Ultimate.

Amanda and Valentina already faced each other in March 2016, when the Brazilian won by unanimous decision. After the confrontation, Amanda received the chance to face the then champion Miesha Tate at UFC 200, in July 2016, and took the belt from the American by submitting her in the first round. Nunes defended her belt for the first time with a knockout Ronda Rousey at UFC 207 last December.
Shevchenko won the right to challenge the Lioness with two consecutive victories: first, in July 2016, she beat the former owner of the belt Holly holm by decision and then finalized Julianna Pena last January. In Ultimate, she has three triumphs and one setback (14-2 in total).
In addition to Amanda, two other Brazilians confirmed on the show are Fabricio Werdum e Thiago Marreta, who face alistair overeem e Gerald meerschaert, respectively. UFC 213 will also feature a bantamweight title fight between cody garbrandt e TJ Dillashaw, the return of Robbie Lawler against Donald Cerrone and heavyweights Travis Browne and Alexey Oliynyk measuring strength in search of recovery.
