Cummins, 36, is coming off a recent victory over Jan Blachowicz at UFC 210, in early April, recovering from the knockouts suffered against Rogério Minotouro e Glover Teixeira. In Ultimate since 2014, he has five wins and four defeats in the organization (9-4 in total).

Gillante, in turn, is looking for recovery after being knocked out by Mauritius Shogun at UFC Fortaleza, last March. At 31 years old, the fighter has accumulated ups and downs in the franchise, with five positive results and five negative results. His professional record has 15 wins and eight losses.
