“The feeling after the fight was one of mission accomplished. I didn't feel relieved, because there's a lot I want to achieve. The title fight was always on my mind, even though I lost two in a row before. That's what always motivates me, I got into this sport to be the best fighter in the world. Today I'm much better than before, my focus remains on the belt, I'm sure it will be mine. It's just a matter of getting active again, like I already am. I'm going to get the belt one way or another”, he declared, in an interview with the website 'Combate.com'.

At 33 years old, Pitbull knows he will need to be more active if he wants to trouble the elite at 77kg again. According to him, the intention is to hold three fights in 2017, and the next one in July, in New York.

“I wanted to fight on July 22nd, in New York, it would be cool to fight on the show because it's the same time zone, it's two and a half hours by plane from where I live. If he fought in New York, he would be active, he would have enough time to return, he would be able to rest. It would be great to fight in July or August. My mission was to have four fights this year, I know it's difficult, but I'm going to try to have two more fights”, concluded the fighter.
