Charles of the Bronx made peace with victory at UFC 210, an event held last Saturday in New York. But the Brazilian's celebration after finishing Will Brooks ended up being costly. The New York Athletic Commission, the entity responsible for sanctioning the show, punished the São Paulo native with a two-month suspension for jumping out of the octagon during his celebration.

According to the Commission's rules, the athlete cannot leave the combat area until the official announcement of the result. The suspension is retroactive to the date of the duel, so Do Bronx will be able to fight again from June 08th. It is worth remembering that the Cuban Yoel romero was also punished for the same reason in November 2016, after knocking Chris Weidman at UFC 205.
