Brave 5, scheduled for April 23, in Mumbai, India, had eight fights on the card announced, with emphasis on Brazilian Paulo Bananada, sparring partner Anderson Silva at XGym, who will face Alejandro Martinez, in a duel valid for the featherweight category.

Bananada, 32, was expected to face lucas mineiro in the main fight of Brave 3, held on March 18, in São José dos Pinhais, but he suffered a knee injury two days before the fight and left the duel. At 32 years old, he has a record of 22 wins and 11 losses.
Martinez, in turn, is much less experienced than the Brazilian. The Mexican has only three fights as a professional, with two victories and one setback. He participated in TUF América Latina 3, and was part of the Forrest griffin, but had to leave the program before the quarterfinals due to an injury.
The main fight of the show will be between Englishman Carl Booth and French-Algerian Tahar Hadbi, in the welterweight category. In the co-event, Indian featherweights Abdul Muneer and Gurdarshan “St. Lion” Mangat face each other.
