Marlon Moraes talks about proposals and admits: 'My dream is the UFC'

Former WSOF champion says he has two offers and guarantees he will announce new home next week

Marlon moraes is close to getting it right with a new event. The bantamweight is in Brazil accompanying his friend and teammate Frankie Edgar, who will comment on Brave 3, which takes place this Saturday (18) in Curitiba, but his head is in the United States, where he continues negotiating with two promotions. Former WSOF champion, the Brazilian recently left the organization and received offers from Bellator and UFC. Despite avoiding talking about a definitive deal, he admitted that his dream is to fight for Ultimate.

“My dream is to test myself against the best. It's fighting in the UFC. But it has to be for something worth it. I have already achieved a lot and need to be valued. I have two proposals on the table, and we are analyzing all of them. Soon, maybe next week, I’ll be able to say who I’m going to sign for,” Marlon told SUPER FIGHTS.

Specifically in the bantamweight category, both Bellator and UFC have quality fighters. Scott Coker's event features Brazilians Eduardo Dantas and Leandro Higo, in addition to the American Darrion Caldwell. Ultimate already has names of the caliber of talent in its squad. Dominick Cruz, TJ Dillashaw e cody garbrandt. Marlon moraes recognizes that both events have excellent athletes at his weight, but reiterates that he considers himself one of the main bantamweights in the world.

“I know that both Bellator and the UFC have great fighters. Garbrandt, TJ, Cruz are tops…In Bellator, the Dudu Dantas He does a great job, I've even trained with him. I fight anyone and I consider myself one of the 10 best in the world. I know I'm in this world and my name has to be spoken along with theirs. I want to go in and test myself,” he commented.
