“I know I can make weight. It wouldn't be easy, nor fun, but I would do it, I'm sure of it. But it would have to be for something big. I think, at this point in my career, I would only go down if I could fight directly for the bantamweight title. I don't care if the champion is Dillashaw or Garbrandt, my ideal fight is always against the owner of a belt. I would love a third fight with Aldo, but I don't know if a win over Rodríguez would put me on that path. But, at this moment, I would only go down to the title”, commented Edgar.

Despite training with Brazilians like Ricardo Cachorrão, Edson Barboza e Marlon moraes, Frankie Edgar is in Brazil for the first time. The featherweight came to Curitiba to comment on the third edition of Brave, which will have lucas mineiro against Mexican Fabian Galván in the main fight. Edgar reiterated that he studied the fights, and regretted the injury to Paulo Bananada, who would fight against Mineiro.

“It's a shame about Paulo's injury, this was the fight I was most excited about. But the whole event is very good, I studied it and I know that they were really good fights.
