For the former owner of the belt, however, the enmity and fights that have already occurred with Garbrandt during the recording of the program are the fault of Faber, recently retired and leader of Team Alpha Male, the team that has the current bantamweight champion “No Love” as main fighter.

“Cody shouldn't be involved in this. I was leaving while he was arriving. I was never friends with him, it wasn't like I did anything to dishonor him. I think it's Faber's fault, he puts a lot of money into these guys to try to keep his team in the spotlight, and keep making money. Everyone who fights for Team Alpha Male pays money to Faber. I think these fights are because of that”, commented TJ at TUF Media Day.

Garbrandt and Dillashaw are expected to face each other in the TUF Finale, which does not yet have a release date. The 25th season of the program will feature welterweights who have already participated in other seasons, such as the Brazilian Dhiego Lima, which was in its 19th season.
