Less than a day after the Irish newspaper “The Irish Sun” published that Floy Mayweather and Conor McGregor had reached an agreement for a confrontation under boxing rules, the former boxer took to social media to deny the information. According to 'Money', there are no negotiations underway.

“Although several rumors are circulating in the media suggesting that I have an upcoming fight, I would like to say that no agreement has been made on my behalf regarding a fight against any fighter. I am retired, happy and enjoying my life. Rest assured that if anything changes, I will be the first to let the world know,” wrote “Money.”
Also through social media, McGregor, as usual, wasted no time and provoked his rival. “I'm in Las Vegas. Floyd retired as soon as I arrived”, posted the Irishman, which was promptly responded to by Mayweather.
"Listen, Conor McGregor, if you really want to make this fight… take care of your business with the UFC and then have your people contact my people,” he declared.
