Anderson Silva overcame the bad phase of more than four years without victory and beat Derek Brunson at UFC 208, an event held last Saturday (11), in New York (USA). However, if it were up to UFC president Dana White, the fast would still be active. The director revealed that he saw the North American winning at the end of three well-fought rounds. In the end, the side judges gave victory to the Brazilian, in a highly discussed decision.

“I saw Brunson win. Before the third round, I thought the fight was tied with one round each. In the third round, I saw Derek win, who sent me a message. Obviously, he is very upset, saying that this was how he supported his family and now he would not have the bonus of a victory that, in his view, was his. But it's one of those things. I always say that if you don't want to be harmed by the judges, don't let the fight go to a decision,” White revealed to the North American channel Fox Sports.

Even though Dana White saw Brunson win, the decision of the side judges is irrevocable. Brunson's contract provides an amount for him to show up and fight and that amount could double if he wins his fights. Therefore, the North American was irritated by the decision. Specialized journalists, for the most part, gave victory to the North American.
