Globo will broadcast UFC 208, with Anderson, Jacaré and Glover on the card

The UFC 208 card, which takes place this Saturday (11), in Brooklyn, in the United States, will be broadcast on Rede Globo. However, due to contractual issues, the fights will not be broadcast live, but with a 30-minute broadcast delay, in accordance with the contract signed for broadcasts of events that take place outside Brazil.

The card will feature the presence of three important Brazilian names in the main portion of the show: Anderson Silva, Ronaldo Jacare e Glover Teixeira, who face Derek Brunson, Tim Boestch and Jared Cannonier, respectively. In addition to the trio, two more representatives from Brazil are scheduled: Wilson reis, who faces Yuta Sasaki, and Roan 'Jucão' Carneiro, who faces off against Ryan LaFlare. In the main fight of the night, Holly holm e Germaine DeRandamie compete for the inaugural women's lightweight belt.

This will be the first international event broadcast by the broadcaster after 14 months. The last one was UFC 194, in December 2015, when Conor McGregor knocked out José Aldo in just 13 seconds and won the featherweight belt, ending Manauara's 10-year unbeaten run.
