“I think she got herself into the biggest trouble of her life. She's been calling me for a long time, begging to fight me. I don't know what's going on that everyone wants to fight me in this division. Maybe because I say what I think and my fights are always well promoted. But she got what she wanted. She campaigned for this fight, and it will be the biggest disappointment of her life”, promised the fighter, in an interview with the website 'MMA Fighting' (USA), which she concluded by mocking her opponent's age and stating that her focus, in addition to winning victory is winning one of the performance bonuses of the night.

“I have evolved a lot as an athlete. My focus is not just winning now, I want to add things to my resume. I want to add a 'Performance of the Night' bonus to my CV. I'm going to destroy it. She asked for it, now she has to deal with it. This grandmother will have problems. She should have stayed in her nursing home.”

Asked about what she expects from her opponent's game, Bethe assured that her concern is not with what Reneau will try to do, but rather with sharpening her own weapons and correcting any errors in her game.

“She has good Muay Thai, but I wouldn't be surprised if she wanted to take me down. I don't know what she wants, but I'm going there to win on my feet or on the ground. I want a performance bonus. My focus is to really destroy it. (…) I'm always studying my opponents, watching their fights, but when I focused on my opponents instead of myself, I lost. The fights I won were the ones in which I focused on evolving as an athlete. I won't make the same mistake again. I'm going to worry about myself, see what I'm doing wrong and where I need to get better. When I train like this, I can do whatever I want,” she concluded.
