The first controversial result of 2017 came in the fight between Joe lauzon and Marcin Held, for UFC Phoenix, last Sunday (15). Despite the Pole dominating much of the final two rounds, the judges' decision was in favor of the North American, who immediately after the fight declared his surprise and disagreement with the result of the duel.
A day later, Lauzon went further: the veteran lightweight announced that he will harass Sean Shelby, UFC manager, so that he doesn't fire Held, who officially has two defeats in two fights for the UFC.

Interestingly, right after the end of the fight, before reading the sheets, the North American appeared desolate. The Pole celebrated the victory. With the triumph, Lauzon reached 14 in Ultimate, two victories away from the record in the lightweight division, which is held by Brazilian Gleison Tibau, with 16.
