Confusion marked the official weigh-in for UFC 207, this Thursday afternoon (29). The bantamweight cody garbrandt, who faces the champion Dominick Cruz for the category title, he almost exchanged punches with the featherweight Jeremy Stephens, who is part of the belt owner's team.
According to information from the North American website “MMA Fighting”, Garbrandt and Cruz met backstage at the official weigh-in and exchanged insults. Later, when Stephens arrived, the challenger provoked him and the two also cursed each other and almost came to blows.
Both Garbrandt and Cruz weighed 61,2 kg. limit in the bantamweight category and the fight is confirmed as the co-main of UFC 207 this Friday (30).
