When explaining what he meant about “Ronda's heart no longer being in MMA”, Tate explained that he sees the restrictions during fight week, such as the ban on interviews with the press, as a sign that Rousey really doesn't want to return to MMA. to fight.

“Maybe she doesn’t want to fight anymore. Maybe she said she would come back, but on her terms. So maybe she doesn't feel like fighting. If she really wanted to fight, I think we would have seen her by now. Competitive people, when they lose, want to fight again. I don’t think she wants to come back”, concluded Miesha.

Former bantamweight champion, Tate announced her retirement after losing to Rachel Pennington at UFC 205. She was already coming off a loss to Amanda at UFC 200, when she lost her title.
