Ultimate announced another fight for the UFC 209 card, an event that will take place in Las Vegas, on March 4th. This is a duel between alistair overeem e Mark Hunt, valid for the heavyweight category. The two already faced each other in 2008, in the now defunct Dream. On that occasion, the North American won by submission.

Former division challenger, Overeem last acted in September of this year, when he was knocked out by the champion Stipe Miocic at UFC 203. At 36 years old, 'The Reem' has six wins and four losses in the organization, having beaten former champions like Brock Lesnar, Junior Gypsy, Frank mir e Andrei Arlovski.

Hunt hasn't fought since last July, when he was outclassed by Brock Lesnar at UFC 200. Seventh in the rankings, the New Zealander has seven wins, five setbacks and one draw. The peak of his career in the company was in 2014, when he competed for the interim heavyweight belt against the Brazilian Fabricio Werdum, who won by technical knockout in the second round.
