The UFC officially opened the women's featherweight division with a fight for the category title between Holly holm and Germanie De Randamie. The fight will take place at UFC 208, on February 11. Those who didn't like the ad at all were Chris Cyborg, owner of the Invicta belt at 66 kg.

Through her Twitter, the Brazilian vented and called Ultimate's attitude “disrespectful”, since in theory she would have to be involved in any title dispute, as Invicta is part of the UFC itself.

“Just two months ago, there were no girls in the division. Now they are racing to make a women's featherweight title. I didn't turn down a fight, I just asked to fight in March. It’s disrespectful”, commented Cris, referring to the fact that she was unable to accept the title fight in February as she was recovering from the severe weight cut for her fight in UFC Brasilia.

The two contenders for the featherweight title come from bantamweight. Former champion up to 61 kg., Holly holm was defeated in her last two fights, losing the belt to Miesha Tate and then falling before Valentina Shevchenko. De Randamie won her last two fights, against Anna Elmose and against the Brazilian Larissa pacheco.
