The old rivalry between UFC and Pride continues even after the American bought the Japanese event. According to the renowned website Sherdog, event leaders would be taking legal action against each other.
The UFC accuses former Pride directors of fraud worth millions of dollars during the process of selling the shares during the purchase process by the American company.
Nobuyuki Sakakibara, former president of Pride, would, in turn, be filing a lawsuit against Zuffa for breach of contract, since the Fertitta brothers, from Ultimate, would not have fulfilled the clause that provided for the maintenance of the Pride, a fact that did not occur.
