The UFC is expected to maintain the number of three events in Brazil next year. At the press conference held after the UFC Sao Paulo, in the early hours of this Sunday (20), the plan to maintain programming similar to that seen in 2016 in the country was announced.

The first of these events, as had already been revealed, will be in March. The chosen city has not yet been defined, but the organization is studying the possibility of returning to the northeast – to date, only Fortaleza (CE) and Natal (RN) have hosted the organization.

In addition, the UFC also revealed the size of the events in Brazil. Two of them will be from the Fight Night line, similar to those seen in São Paulo, which are broadcast on cable television in the United States and feature smaller fights. The other will be numbered, transmitted in pay-per-view in the USA – as happened in May this year, in Curitiba (PR), led by Stipe Miocic x Fabricio Werdum for the heavyweight belt.
