“I think I have more desire, tenacity and heart. It's very difficult to get discouraged in a fight. In a way, Oliveira 'breaks' both physically and mentally in fights, and we've seen this happen before. The fans will definitely help me. I feed off the public's energy, and if they are in my favor, it's better”, said the fighter, in an interview with the 'UFC Brasil' website.

Known for his dangerous ground game, Charles has already submitted several opponents in his career in Ultimate, but nothing that worries Ricardo. Without ever being finished in his career, he even promises to surprise the Brazilian if the duel goes to the ground.

“His ground is dangerous, but mine is too. If he wants to go to the ground with me, he's the one who could end up getting submitted. I don't see many holes in his game, but I think sometimes he gets too comfortable, and if that happens, I'll definitely take advantage,” he concluded.

PUBLICITY:

Ricardo Lamas x Charles Oliveira will be the second most important fight of the night, which will feature a lightweight duel between Rafael dos Anjos e Tony Ferguson in the main attraction of the show.
