The Brazilians Demian Maia e Jorge santiago are scheduled to face each other at UFC 136, an event that takes place on October 8, in Houston, in the United States. As revealed to the SUPER FIGHTS Demian's manager, Eduardo Alonso, the duel is agreed, the only thing missing is the signing of the contract.
The fight will be an opportunity to recover for the fighters, as both athletes are coming off defeats in the organization. The paulista Demian Maia lost a streak of two victories after being surpassed by the Filipino Mark Munoz at UFC 131. In turn, Jorge Santiago, who returned to Ultimate in 2011 after five years away, did not have the expected return. The Rio native, resident in the United States, faced the American Brian Stann at UFC 130 and ended up being knocked out in the second round.
