The fine of R$525 imposed by the Nevada Athletic Commission (NAC) on Conor McGregor, due to the “war” of water bottles and cans led by the Irishman and Nate diaz During the pre-UFC 202 press conference, last August, the “golden boy” of Ultimate was very unhappy. McGregor was so upset by the punishment that he told UFC president Dana White that he no longer intends to fight in the state.

“McGregor called me yesterday and said: “I never want to fight in Nevada again. Never". How does this make sense for the state of Nevada? That you're going to try to fine Conor and Nate that kind of money. This just makes people not want to come and fight in our state anymore. And that’s not a good thing,” Dana said on “The Herd” (USA).
In addition to the million-dollar fine, Conor also received an additional 50 hours of community service and the fighter's commitment to developing an anti-bullying campaign in partnership with the entity. For Dana, however, the state loses, not the fighter.
He guesses? O Conor McGregor Don't need Nevada. He can fight anywhere. He can fight in Iowa, okay? We can set his fight on an island far from the coast anywhere. This doesn't make sense for the state. It's terrible (…) I wasn't excited about it when it happened. We did the best we could to contain them at the time. But throwing water bottles? Calm down. I don't want to say too much here and end up getting in trouble too, but it's ridiculous. Crazy”, concluded the president.
Nate has not yet been heard, but the American's trial date should be announced soon. The tendency, however, is for the North American to receive a similar punishment to his rival.
