Kid Yamamoto
Recognized as one of the biggest names in Japanese MMA, Norifumi “Kid” Yamamoto he didn't have the debut he expected in the UFC. The Japanese athlete, who had built his career only in Asia, was surpassed Demetrious Johnson, in the unanimous decision of the judges, in a duel held at UFC 126, in February this year. But, despite the setback, Yamamoto will have a new chance to resume his career in the organization. Kid will face the North American Damacio Page at UFC 135, an event scheduled to take place on September 24th, in Denver, in the United States.
Like Yamamoto, Damacio also debuted with a defeat in Ultimate. The American, who arrived at the UFC after the event's merger with the WEC, was surpassed by Brian Bowles at UFC Live 3, held in March.
The main fight of UFC 135 will be the light heavyweight title fight, where the current champion Jon Jones will make his first title defense against Quinton “Rampage”Jackson.
