After debuting with victory in the Ultimate, the brazilian Diego nunes will be back with the organization this Saturday (11) at UFC 131. The featherweight will face the North American Kenny Florian on the main card of the edition based in the city of Vancouver, Canada.
For the upcoming confrontation, Nunes intends to maintain the pace that guaranteed him victory over former WEC champion Mike Brown at UFC 125. The tough guy highlights that fighting in the UFC against a renowned fighter like Florian is an excellent opportunity to establish your name at the event, so make sure you are prepared for whatever happens when the two are face to face inside the Octagon.
“I’m looking forward to this fight. It's an honor to have the chance to face Florian, as I've been following his career for a long time. He is a very talented athlete because, in addition to having high-level Muay Thai, he also has a very sharp ground game,” he highlighted.
Despite recognizing his opponent's abilities, Nunes promises to make Florian's life difficult at UFC 131. The Brazilian athlete also stated that the North American will be in trouble in his featherweight debut, due to his desire to build a successful career in the UFC will make the difference in your favor in the confrontation.
