UFC 205, an event that will take place on November 12th in New York (USA), is expected to feature a Polish duel on its main card. Joanna Jedrzejczyk will defend his strawweight belt again against his compatriot Karolina Kowalkiewicz at the legendary Madison Square Garden gym.

The fight has not yet been officially confirmed by the UFC, but the North American website “FloCombat” said that plans for it are already advanced. The Poles are undefeated in professional MMA and will be fighting for the sixth title in the history of the 52 kg category.
Jedrzejczyk won the title in March 2015 when she beat Carla esparza by knockout. After that, he has already defended his belt three times, with victories over Jessica penne, Valerie Letourneau and Claudia Gadelha. His professional MMA record is 12 wins in 12 fights.
Kowalkiewicz has won his 10 professional MMA fights, the last being against Rose namajunas at UFC 201, at the end of July. On that occasion, the athlete achieved her third triumph in the octagon – the others had been against Randa markos and Heather Jo Clark.
Joanna and Karolina have already faced each other in amateur MMA, with the current UFC champion winning by submission. The fight took place in March 2012, at the Amateur League MMA 18 event.
The UFC promises to release the full schedule of the show that will mark its debut in New York by next Tuesday (27).
