The Brazilian Erick silva is another fighter confirmed on the UFC Rio card. The athlete signed a contract with the Ultimate this afternoon (25) and will debut in the organization against the North American Mike swick in a clash valid for the welterweight category.
Silva is undefeated in nine fights in his career and is the current holder of the 77 kg belt in the Jungle Fight. To win the title, sparring Anderson Silva submitted his compatriot Gil de Freitas and Mexican Francisco Ayon, in the GP held in the 23rd edition of the event, to be declared the first welterweight champion of the Brazilian organization.

In his most recent fight, Swick was submitted with a hand triangle by the Brazilian Paulo thiago at UFC 109, an edition held in February last year.
