This Friday night (29) in the city of Campo Grande (MS) was filled with strong emotions with the holding of WOCS 11. This edition of the event took a card of nine fights to the capital of Mato Grosso do Sul, where it was The organization's under-77kg GP is up for grabs.
Whoever came out on top and won the tournament title was Luis Beição, who reached the GP final by defeating Tico Pedroso in the unanimous decision of the judges in one of the semi-finals of the competition. In the other elimination match, Mauro Xuxa finished André Chatuba with an armbar in the first round of the fight, thus qualifying himself to face Beição in the decision.
In the confrontation for the WOCS belt, Beição took no notice of Xuxa and dominated the actions of the confrontation from the beginning of the fight. After undermining his opponent's resistance during the opening minutes of the fight, the Nova União athlete was declared champion of the tournament by technical knockout (withdrawal) between the second and third rounds.
WOCS 11 also had six more scheduled fights on its card, five of which ended before the scheduled three rounds. Check out the full results of the event below:
