The Brazilian Cyborg Evangelist must return to Strikeforce soon. Coming off a loss to the champion Nick Diaz in the fight for the organization's welterweight belt, the fighter is tipped to be on the card of an edition not yet made official by the event scheduled for July 9th.
Cyborg's likely opponent is the Belgian Tarec saffiedine, a 24-year-old athlete who briefly played for DREAM in 2009. In his last fight, Saffiedine was defeated by the American Tyron woodley, in the unanimous decision of the judges, at Strikeforce Challengers 13, which took place on January 7th of this year.
According to sources close to Strikeforce, Cyborg and Saffiedine already have a verbal agreement to hold the fight. An official announcement of the fight by the organization's leaders is expected in the coming days. Stay tuned on SUPER FIGHTS to have all the information on the subject.
