It will not be in New York, in the historic Madison Square Garden, the return of Ronda Rousey to the octagon. At least that's what Dana White, president of the UFC, says. Participating in the “UFC Unfiltered” podcast (USA), Dana says that Ronda will not fight in New York and even assured that she is about to start putting together the card, which will take place on November 12th and will mark the sport's debut in city.
“She definitely doesn’t fight in New York. In fact, I’m going to start working on preparing the card this week”, announced the president.

According to the website “Fox Sports” (USA), the fighter's return has been negotiated and could occur later this year, although no contract has been signed and she is “ruled out” of UFC 205, the organization's biggest attraction in the last quarter of 2016. It is worth remembering that the UFC recently released the calendar until the end of the year, and the last event will be on December 30th, in Las Vegas (USA).
Ronda Rousey, 29 years old, 12-1 in MMA (6-1 in UFC), has not fought since she lost her first fight as a professional MMA, and, consequently, the UFC women's bantamweight title, in November last year, when was knocked out by Holly holm. Since then, the category belt has rotated a lot. Holm, Miesha Tate and now the Brazilian Amanda nunes, current champion, have already won the belt.
