UFC 202: McGregor and Nate Diaz almost fight and have to be separated by police

As expected, the atmosphere at the weigh-in heated up, a lot, during the main fight of UFC 202. After the teams of Conor McGregor e Nate diaz staged a “war” over glasses at the press conference before the event, last Wednesday (17), the protagonists of the night made a face with a lot of emotion and had to be restrained by Dana White and the others present on stage.

First to weigh in, Conor, who didn't even reach the category's limit of 70 kilos – he weighed 76,2 kg -, cheered a lot on the scale, lifting the thousands of Irish people present at the scene. In the post-weigh-in interview, he said: “He should have killed me when he had the chance. Now I'm going to finish you and your entire team”, in reference to the first duel with Diaz.

Nate diaz He weighed himself in sequence and weighed 77kg, looking like he had few friends, as usual. When he took the microphone, he was short and direct when giving his message to his rival: “I trained a lot to kill him. Now it's kill or be killed. This is the United States, son of a bitch!”, shouted Nate.

In the second most important fight, the light heavyweights Anthony Johnson e Glover Teixeira maintained the respect they had been showing throughout the preparation for the duel and presented a calm face, as did Rick Story and Donald Cerrone. The always heated cody garbrandt he tried to intimidate Takeya Mizugaki, talking a lot during the face-off, while the Japanese just shook his head in affirmative.
