Watson will make his second belt defense at BAMMA. The Englishman won the organization's title last May against the North American Matt Horwich in the third edition of the event. In his most recent fight, the fighter defended his belt by defeating his compatriot Alex Reed at BAMMA 4, which took place last September.

“Ninja is without a doubt one of the best middleweights in the world. Furthermore, I am very motivated because this fight will be in front of the English public. I’m sure it will be a war”, said the champion.
