The Brazilian Rafael Feijão will defend, on March 5th, the Strikeforce light heavyweight belt against Dan Henderson. The North American, who is a former Pride and UFC champion, says that Feijão will be a great challenge, but says he is excited to beat the organization's title holder.
“I've been training for everything that may come (in the fight). Beans are a big challenge for me and I’m excited to win,” Henderson said during the show’s press conference. Hendo, as the 41-year-old veteran fighter is known, does not hide his desire to knock out the Brazilian athlete and shows his weapons to leave the octagon with victory
“It’s no secret that we’re going for the knockout. We are both great finishers and win most of our fights by knockout. I will definitely put pressure on him and look for the knockout the entire time,” added the fighter.
The fight between Rafael Feijão and Dan Henderson will be the main attraction of Strikeforce Columbus, an event that takes place on March 5th, in Ohio, in the United States. Check out the full event card below:
