The revelation of Brazilian MMA in 2007, Rousimar Palhaes, known as Toquinho, signed a four-fight contract with the UFC this morning.
Toquinho won the Fury Fight GP last year, in the under-84kg category, defeating Flavio Moura, Fábio Negão and Daniel Acácio, submitting all three with a footlock. At the end of the year, the Minas Gerais native received his jiu-jitsu black belt from master Murilo Bustamante.
“He signed a four-fight contract this morning in the under-84kg category. His debut has not yet been scheduled, but next week we should have some news in this regard”, said Murilo Bustamante, one of the leaders of BTT
