Again Wilson reis sees his opponent changed just a few days before UFC 201. Ultimate confirmed that the Brazilian, previously tipped to fight for the flyweight belt, will now face Hector Sandoval, who will make his debut in the octagon.
Originally, Reis would challenge Demetrious Johnson for the title of the category up to 57 kg. However, the champion was injured, and the organization selected rookie Sean Santella to replace him. He, however, failed the pre-fight medical exams, which forced a new change.
Sandoval, 29 years old, is a training partner with names like Urijah faber, cody garbrandt e Joseph Benavidez on Team Alpha Male. The North American has a record of 12 wins and two losses in professional MMA.
UFC 201 will take place on July 30th in Atlanta, Georgia (USA). In the main fight of the night, Robbie Lawler defends the welterweight belt against Tyron woodley.
