After starting his career promisingly, the Brazilian Guto Inocente begins to take his first steps on the international MMA scene. This afternoon (11) the fighter's manager, Alex Davis, announced the signing of the tough guy by Strikeforce.
Inocente arrives at the North American organization with an undefeated record of five fights, three wins by submission and two by knockout. Born in Brasília, the athlete is the current South American 100kg Shooto champion, a title he won in his last fight, where he knocked out the Argentine Gustavo Moia in just 40 seconds of action in Shooto 18.
There is still no forecast for the Tupiniquim fighter's debut in the Strikeforce hexagon, but if it depends on the heavyweight's predictions Antonio Pezão, Inocente has everything to shine in his new phase of his career.
“God willing, Guto will give Strikeforce a massive beating. If they put him in a title fight against (Rafael) Feijão it will be a tough stop for the champion. The kid looks sinister,” said Pezão.
