With his first title defense against Amanda nunes with UFC 200 next Saturday (9) approaching, the champion Miesha Tate She took advantage of her 'fight week' media commitments to needle her opponent, highlighting the Brazilian's biggest weakness: her mentality.
During a lunch with the press held this week, the North American analyzed her opponent and stated that Amanda had never faced someone like her, in addition to choosing the Brazilian's mentality as her greatest weakness. “She has never faced anyone like me. I also think her mentality is her biggest weakness, honestly,” she stated.

The champion of the up to 61 kilos category formed her opinion about Nunes' weakness after the Brazilian's fight with the North American Zingano cat, where the current challenger ended up being defeated. According to Tate, she does not pose a danger to her opponents when she is in a negative situation during the fight.
“I don't think Amanda really likes being hit. I think she thinks she likes it, but I don't think she does. I think she likes to hit. And if she's winning, that's great. But when she's not winning, when she's put in this adversity situation, she tends to stop. I don't really know if it's a gas issue or if it's like, how much does she really want to win? So I think the fight will get to a point where it will become a question in her head, but it won't be in mine. Wherever we are, whether standing or on the floor, I will make her ask herself that question”, he said.
With 18 wins and 5 losses in his career, Miesha Tate won the bantamweight belt by beating Holly holm by submission in the co-main event of UFC 196. Meanwhile, Amanda, who has 12 wins and 4 losses in her career, got the chance to fight for the belt after recording three consecutive victories.
