Cesar Gracie negotiates boxing fight for Nick Diaz

Nick Diaz can debut in boxing

Nick Diaz He is the current owner of the Strikeforce welterweight division belt, but anyone who thinks that the North American is satisfied with MMA is mistaken. The fighter's coach, Brazilian César Gracie, stated that Diaz could have a super boxing fight to raise more money.

“In boxing, when you are a star, you get paid millions of dollars. In MMA you still don’t make this kind of money,” said Cesar, in an interview with North American ESPN. The Brazilian black belt also revealed that he has already started negotiations with a boxing promoter and revealed Diaz's possible opponents.

“We are in negotiations with Don Chargin (boxing promoter). We would really like to do a boxing match. It would probably be in the super middleweight category (up to 72,6kg).
