UFC 202, an event that will take place on August 20th in Las Vegas (USA), added two more prominent fights to its schedule. The duel between the light heavyweights Glover Teixeira e Anthony Johnson it will be the second most important fight of the night.

Rematch between McGregor and Diaz is made official for UFC 202

Originally, the fight was supposed to take place on July 23, but Johnson was removed from the fight due to an unspecified serious family problem. The UFC, then, preferred to reschedule the fight for the following month instead of finding a new opponent for the Brazilian.

Johnson, who challenged for the light heavyweight belt in 2015, losing to Daniel Cormier, comes from two consecutive victories: over Jimi Manuwa and Ryan bader. Glover, who was also a title challenger a year earlier, won three in a row, against Ovince St Preux, Patrick Cummins and Rashad evans.

Another duel scheduled for UFC 202 will be between ranked welterweights Rick Story and Donald Cerrone. Story, ninth on the list, comes from three consecutive victories, the last in May, with Cerrone triumphing in the two fights he has already had at the weight, against Alex Cowboy and Patrick Cote.

The main fight of UFC 202 will be between Conor McGregor e Nate diaz, in the welterweight category. The first duel between the two, in March, saw Diaz win by submission.
