Igor Gracie debuts in February at Strikeforce

The Brazilian Igor Gracie will have the biggest opportunity of his short MMA career this February. The tough guy will debut in Strikeforce on the 12th when he faces the North American John Salgado on the preliminary card of Strikeforce: Fedor vs Silva.

Igor was away from MMA in 2010. Renzo Gracie He last fought in December 2009 at Wreck MMA – Fight for the Troops, where the Canadian finished Chris Vorano with a rear naked choke in the first round. It is worth noting that Igor has already fought in the Bellator Fighting Championships, being defeated by his compatriot Vagner-Rocha in issue 11 of the organization.

This edition of Strikeforce will also feature two fights valid for the event's heavyweight GP. The Brazilian Antonio “Pezão” face the Russian Fedor Emelianenko while Andrei Arlovski e Sergey Kharitonov make another duel valid for the quarterfinals of the tournament.
